Shoe type

What are your tour plans? Depending on the terrain and what you have to carry, you need more support or flex­ibility.

• HI-Shoe: The high boot extends well over the ankle and covers part of the lower calf. As a result, the upper provides comfortable and good rolling prop­erties on the ankle and base of the leg.

• MID-Shoe: The boot extends over the ankle and covers the base of the calf.

• LO-Shoe: The low-cut shoe (LO) covers the foot and extends to the base of the ankle.

When recom­mending shoe sizes, LOWA calculates with an addi­tional length of 15 mm (12 mm for children). This has already been considered in the following information. Indi­vidual foot shapes and personal fit pref­erences can deviate from these recom­mend­ations.
